Honorable A. Leon Stanback, Jr.

A. Leon Stanback, Jr. was sworn in as Superior Court Judge for the 14th Judicial District of North Carolina in 1989 by then Associate Justice Henry Frye.  Nikki, his daughter, at age 13, held the Bible.  Judge Stanback received his Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University.  After more than 20 years on the bench, Judge Stanback retired in 2009.
